I would love to see if replacing these with originals will fix the problem. Steps: 1. replace the kext 2. sudo chown -R root:wheel AppleAC97Audio.kext 3. reboot (or use kextload to load it and the PlugIns in the bundle!) The files are copyrighted by Apple... I made a thread a couple of days ago stating that I needed some kexts. I was not given them becuase they're not open source, and rather they are made and compiled by Apple - thus posting a download link to them is a DMCA Violation. And we wouldn't want that again, would we?
