Hi,

as Salling announced in a december email after requesting him, Salling Clicker is now working with OSX 86.

What is Salling Clicker:

With Salling Clicker you can use your mobile phone with bluetooth as a remote control. You can skip, play,

change the volume and balance, load your playlists, almost everything is working instantly!!

It has support for many OSX Apps, iTunes, iPhoto, even Mousecontrol is possible and there are sripts available for lots of

apps like FrontRow :offtopic:

//muhahahaha  It even shows the iTunes AlbumArt on your mobile :D Made my day :D :D

Requirements:

You need to have a phone that supports bluetooth, as well as built in BT at your PC or a BT dongle device.

Also check the device list on the website, to make sure that your phone is supported.

Salling Clicker installs in the Preferences Pane of OSX, but don't worry, it really works :D

You should know that ONLY the latest version it is 3.0.1 (477) works with OSX 10.4.3., I tried previous builds

of SC and they don't work.

So if you want to surprise your XP friends :D go for it. (Actually, it is available for windows, too, but in osx it

looks much more sexy)

I found this a while back, and was utterly dismayed when I learned my latest and greatest cell phone, a Motorola E815 wasnt even supported.

Why do these companies (Verizon) think they can get away with limiting the bluetooth capabilities on their phones whilst advertising them as "bluetooth enabled" ???

And then they wonder why people file class action lawsuits against them for false advertising.

I had to switch to my old Nokia 7650, too, and now it works perfectly.

I will sell my bramdnew §#$!%& Motorola RAZR V3 at eBay.

Hands off the RAZR. It is looking very good, but thats all. Moto-software SUXX for me :dev:

Great find. Haven't tried it though. I have a XDA IIs and assuming that "WIFI may require accessory" means I need to have wifi, that isn't a problem. My question is, if Tiger is on an access point router, can my pda phone control it using wifi? Anyone here have the answer or do i need to go to there forum?
