nagal
I did the update for 10.4.11 following the generic updating from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10 instructions. Everything worked just like before except my ethernet. I go into AppleYukon.kext and see it has changed so I replace the dev id, fix permission and kill the Extension caches. Still no go. Next step was to reinstall the AppleYukon.kext from the XxX 10.4.10 DVD and fix the dev id, fix permissions, kill the Extension cache. Worked fine the first time. After the next reboot I get the message that say AppleYukon.kext was not properly installed. So if I boot with -f everything works. Any ideas on what I need to do so I can boot without -f? nagal
I finally fixed it. There is a download for the Gigabyte P965-D3 Yukon that I used for 10.4.8. Installing it and changing the dev ids in AppleYukon.kext made it all go back to normal.
