mk2jettavr6 Posted November 24, 2007 Share Posted November 24, 2007 I bought this copy at a computer fair and installed it last week in hopes of updating it to 10.4.8 so i can use it with my iphone. i cannot install any updates on here combo or delta nothing all i keep getting an error that states my volume does not meet requirements for update. i have 30 gigs and am running 10.4.3..... i have read that 8f1099 is some weird build with some type of "seed" or somethig which i do not understand. i am runnning this on an ibook g3 500mhz 384 ram 40gig hd dvd cdr someone please help! Hagar Posted November 24, 2007 Share Posted November 24, 2007 10.4.3 build 1099 was a pre-release developer build. As such it was never meant to be updated. On intel, 10.4.4 & up were the release builds. Compatibility was broken in the dev. builds once between 10.4.1 & 10.4.2 , and again between 10.4.3 & 10.4.4.
