KrisAU
Hi Guys All up and running, I have a E6600 C2D, 4GB DDRII ram, and Asus P5B Deluxe wifi board... I've dedicated 10GB on another hdd to Vmware and 2GB of memory, yet it runs so slow its almost unbareable. jed717ph
it felt weird on my first post, but please if you want a responsive, stable, Mac OS X environment, you can try a VMware to Native method and do a chain0 boot trick. VMware is a kind of test. VMware to Native is a challenge. Native is plain challenge. good luck dude. You do have a nice rig. Don't stick on VMware. EDIT : To answer your question, OS X on vmware doesn't support QE/CI, which is an essential piece of OS X puzzle for hardware acceleration thing. And really, VMware is poor on top-speed virtualization.
