Working OOB: Full 1680x1050 Resolution, 4 cores are detected and Overclocked @ 3.2Ghz

Not working: Audio, Lan (looking for drivers)

 

Steps I went through:

You won't be able to boot using a IDE DVD, I tried and I got that "boot.plist" message. After getting the SATA problem passed I was able to boot and install the OSX boot during the boot process from the disk I was getting a "Still waiting for root device".

The last message was a direct cause of a default install I did not saw I had some options for wich drivers during install. On the menu for drivers I've choose the 3870 Ati Driver, some languages. and ticked even the vannila kernel, time machine fix ... and install....

After booting from install I got to loop on the welcome screen asking for registration. Booted from DVD in Single User mode remounted the root partition and created the root user... done

Boot and F8 > -s

/sbin/fsck -fy /

mount -uw /

touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

sync

reboot
