Hi,

I've found all I need (I think) to patch/install Leopard 10.5 but I need a REALLY detailled howto for this, here what I have :

-Leaopard dmg 10.5 final

-brazilmac patch (10/31 updated, "time machine" fixed)

-Pranker AMD patch

-Marvin AMD utility

-A friend with a REAL mac (Tiger 10.4.11 PPC)

I intend to install leopard on my AhtlonXPM 2800+ laptop AND on my Athon64 X2 4800+ PC, both support SSE2 (checked with Linux command : cat /pro/cpuinfo)

All I need is a good howto with :

-How to (and in which order) use patches/fix/utility

-Detailled process, not only "use marvin utility to decrypt binaries", this doesn't help since I (and my friend) don't know how the marvin utility work, if I need to mount (r/w) leo image first, if I need to extract some files, ect...

I don't need (for the moment) any consideration about hardware, I've already downloaded all the kext needed for my hardware (thx to this wonderfull forum)

here what I done :

-Edit and Use brazilmac patch and ended with leo_patched_dvd.iso (only prelink failed during the patch process)

I want (if possible - I hope so) to end this an ISO file, ready to be installed WITHOUT further patches/utilities (exept Brazilmac Post-patch and hardware specific patches/fixes of course)

Thx in advance

here my report :

1-Using Skrinker.zip => ISO OK!

2-Using 9A581_DVD.zip => replace_it.sh OK, patcher failed! (mac-O x86 only, working on a PPC mac)

3-Using marvin AMD Utility to generate cpuid.txt (the one provide in the zip file make the Utility fail, tested with simulation mode) and use it on the mounted ISO OK!

4-Burning générated and patched ISO to dvd-rw OK!

5-Booting the DVD, fail after loading the apple light blue screen, reboot each try

6-Trying to use Marvin MAD utility to decrypt binaries (even if replace_it.sh already replace binaries), failed, finding ONE MORE binary to decrypt but unable to do it, here is the log :

If someone have a solution it's welcome, I know a pre-patched ISO hase been released but I don't want, after all I done, give up when it's almost finished...
