How do I install dictionary fix (mac.nub and XxX 10.4.10)

its not packaged, i did however find this on another forum that might help someone else, quoted..

I don't know if this will work on XxX or not. I had the dictionary problem on both XxX and the new Mac.Nub versions but not with Kalyway or JaS. Here's what worked on Mac.Nub.

On both the JaS and Kalyway versions, there is a "support" folder at:

/system/library/frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Frameworks/LangAnalysis.framework/Versions/A/Support

That folder is missing from Mac.Nub's version. I just copied the folder from a working Kalyway disk, repaired permissions and the dictionary worked. I don't have XxX running on any of my systems right now, but if someone could check it out and report back as to whether or not the folder exists, it might help to do the same thing I did for Mac.Nub.

I suppose you could also use pacifist to copy this from either a JaS or Kalyway install disk. Hope this helps .

The way I fixed it was to insert XxX 10.4.10 disk, go to system - content - package and find the dictionary fix package, open pacifist and open the dictionary fix and just install from there, work like a charm for me.

Sorry, I knew Blackchungo pkg'd it so I thought you had that. You can download the torrent for the pkg from Mininova. It's pretty small so it should be a quick d/l. Good luck.
