NCQ is working on my ds4, but I didn't do anything special-- perhaps it is because I'm using an HD pretty much the same as in the Mac Pro -- "Seagate ST3160811AS Barracuda 7200.9 160GB 8MB SATA II" ... even though in system profiler it lists vendor as unknown. Using EFI v8 using GPT partitioning with vanilla kernel and pc_efi's AppleSMBIOS. dsmos.kext and AppleACPI from brazilmac.

system profiler info:

On Leopard (iATKOS 1.0i) NCQ and S3 Sleep are working for me.

My config:

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 rev. 2.0 - BIOS F9 - Internal SATA as AHCI - JMicron Disabled

WD5000AAKS - Connected to orange port 0 - Discovered by OS X correctly

8600GT 256MB VRAM

2 GB DDR2 PC2-6400

Core 2 Quad Q6600

Only problem i have is system hanging on MACH_REBOOT while rebooting, so i need to reset my computer...
