My motherboard is 915g

i made the ac97 kext like below (amend ICH Type 6 to 2). then then mic work to me.

i think the ich type is u working mode, It can explain this why somebody's lineout and no in them lineout socket(they are working in 2-channel,but os x think it working in 6-channel mode)

I think u can mode u corresponding item to make u mic working.

xyhh,

I was able to run the test with the "what time is it" and a few of the others but I still can't hear myself talking. In other words the "linein through MIC" is working but the audio is not being to the out. My speakers and headphones do work when I play music from iTunes and from realplayer. What could be the problem?
