iMäcen
I have the same problem, and I have heard from other NC6000 users that have the same problem. Go for Tiger until there is a better Leopard version out. XxX 10.4.10 works perfect on my NC6000. Check my signature for details.

tchow
Use stupid way to install 1. install 10.4.X first. don't install X11. 2. when you install before. create 2 partition. 1 for os 2 for patch (Brailpatch for leopard) 3. Two partition need mac format 4. install 10.4.x finish. copy the brailpatch to patch partition 5. when you reboot to install Leopard. Make sure the partition name. OS partition Name : Leopard. Patch partition Name : PATCHER. Carefull the cap letter. 6. Boot up leopard 1.5 ToH dvd. Don't erase partition. Select customer install. Don't select X11 7. install finish. Boot up the DVD again. Goto terminal and type this : - cd /Volumes/PATHCER - ./9a581PostPatch.sh or ./9a581-PostPatch.sh 8. finish patch. reboot the system. I hope you can no problem. I use this way install 15 computer 90% work. 10% install mistake ...
Detosx
I have a DV6205us. I had JAS 10.4.8 installed, I installed the needed kexts, etc, and later updated to 10.4.10, I think thanks to a koolkal updater. Point being, if you have even a vanilla JAS 10.4.8 installed and your applications and everything is essentially working, you can then do a TOH install over that and everything should work, bar some mouse arrow orphans which might or might not bother you. There is probably a new Natit.kext out there that will take care of that, or soon to be.
abhishiv
Unchecking ATI/nvidia drivers at install time worked for 10.4.8; tried that for 10.5?

iMäcen
tonythegreek: If you take a look at this screenshot over the 10.4.10 install options, I thiknk I chose: None of the recomended patches, 8.9.1.kernel.SSE2.apr01, ADI1980.AC97.Audio and 10.4.5.IO80211Family.kext. That's it, only three options ticked. http://img63.imageshack.us/my.php?image=in...rdetailseq2.jpg
