Actually, i prefer Avid than FCP, but recent Avidxpress pro has dongle with it.... Does someone just patch it ? please, let me know... zarac Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 AvidXpress Pro works perfectly on my machine (i'm using the usb dongle key) on some tiger installations it didn't work - installer would go crazy when starting (opens and closes in dock about 20 times). not sure what caused that behavior. i couldn't fix the problem, so i installed different osx86 tiger release (uphuck, i think) quick test to check whether it would work on your system is to download and install avid codecs from their official website. if that installer behaves in the way i described, avidxpress pro installer will do the same.
