Eric.C
I thought 300MB was a bit too much for the OS on the 2nd gen nano, and when I looked in disk utility, there seems to be 160.13MB of free, unpartitioned space on the nano. Any ideas on how to fix it? I called Apple tech support but they say they say that all management of the iPod and its software should be done through iTunes, and I should not be going into disk utility at all... tintin220
Can you simply restore it and then re-sync? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/71796-ipod-nano-free-space/#findComment-515117 Share on other sites
Eric.C
tried, but it won't work, a restore still makes 1 partition, with 166 mb of free (unpartitioned) space Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/71796-ipod-nano-free-space/#findComment-515396 Share on other sites
