bgrau
No, neither removing appleintelcpupowermanagement.kext nor adding -legacy switch works with 8.11.1 nopcefi kernel... however i got 8.10.3 working like a charm, and at least its newer than 8.10.1 thanks Netkas for great work as usual... troisd
well i updated to .11... the system stopped booting hehe using netkas' EFI 5.2, oh well, wonder why it doesn't work on C2D and Intel board with ICH7-R ... My HackPro C2D box has EFI 5.2 running mac.nub's 10.4.10 install. I did the auto update to 10.4.11 and had problems booting up. Restoring mac.nub's 10.4.10 AppleACPIPlatform.kext and AppleSMBIOS.kext solved the problem. *** Do not use EFI's dsmos.kext nor AppleSMBIOS.kext because it won't work! *** Now I got the standard "bugs" using this vanilla kernel... restart and sleep doesn't work!
