M0rpheus
Hey there everyone, Just having a little trouble getting my LAN to work properly. I have a working IONetworkingFamily.kext for my Broadcom 5705 integrated LAN. It worked perfectly until I updated to EFI using either the patched ToH or vanilla Leopard kernel, when it sees the device but constantly says that the cable is not connected when it is (the original patched kernel will not boot anymore with the EFI patch installed). Anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this and a possible solution? Obviously it has something to do with the kernel/EFI, but I'd like to figure out exactly what because without LAN or wireless I can't access the net any way at all. Thanks in advance! M0rpheus
Okay that's wierd, I was updating video drivers and all of a sudden the network connects now. I decided to use a different IONetworkingFamily.kext file and it seems to be working just fine now. Now to see if I can do updates without it killing my install...
