Hey all, I got my uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3 disk to install onto my Acer Aspire 5630 laptop. I actually dual-booted it with Vista by chainloading it with chain0 and the help of EasyBCD. The only problem is that my ethernet and my wireless lan isn't working. I chose to install both drivers listed in the disk (none of them were actually what I use in Vista) and tried re-installing osx with only 1, then the other, and then none, but still didn't work. Here are my computer specs along with drivers, if anyone could help me get the drivers, or lead me in some direction towards them:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 (SSE3 works perfectly)

1.73GHz, 533MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache

Intel GMA 950 Video Card - I have 256MB of shared VRAM, but osx only shows 64MB VRAM, but resoloution works perfectly (1200x800) and I saw in the options somewhere that QE or something was enabled or supported

2GB DDR2

802.11a/b/g WLAN

Here are the names of my drivers for my (this is what it says in Vista, under device manager)

LAN: Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller

WLAN: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

I was just wondering, is there anyway that I can take the driver for windows and somehow 'convert' it into a mac driver? Or someway I can just learn to write drivers for mac and then rewrite the windows driver? (I'm willing to take any amount of time to learn)

Also, I just downloaded the pascalw delta update 10.4.10, but I have no idea how to install it. It's 138MB and comes with 2 packages, Intel and AMD, and some binary decrypter (dsmos.kext). The Md5 I get is e3b8a85e459b17172592901a424b4138 . It's also a .zip file, so do I unzip it and then burn it onto a disk?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Edit: When choosing the kernel, I chose the Intel-2 SSE2 or something like that, just wondering, would that have an affect on if i can connect to the internet?

For updating from 10.4.9 to 10.4.11 there is an excelent guide on this page:

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...e+working+on+it

And for the 3945abg, there is no solution at the moment.

There are some guys working on a driver here:

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...976&hl=3945

But there is no working driver right now.

I have the same 3945abg card in my machine, and to get wireless working i bought a

D-Link DWL-122G USB card for around 15 euros, and it works perfect.
