Little Snitch

Hi all, I'm new here so please forgive my ignorance. I'm seeing some interesting activity regarding my connection history to /mach_kernel. I searched the forums and Google, but can't figure why the kernal is receiving data from these IP's. Why would I be connecting to these random IP addresses? Thanks!

If you've installed Little Snitch, it reports itself to ensure it's a legit install.

 

There is "no way to turn off Little Snitch tattling on itself"

install littlesnitch 2. the old version does not work in leopard. it reports any program activity as "kernel_task" activity.

 

those ips look like you are running a p2p program...
