Doug the Impaler
Exact same thing...I used the BrazilMac DVD, booted into the DVD fine, installed fine, rebooted into the installer and went to the terminal, patch installed fine (said it was successful anyway) and then rebooted without DVD and boom, it gets stuck and never boots. Then I had to come to work, so I haven't been able to do anything else.
Amerix
Here the same, after patching and trying to boot from the separed HD with Leopard, I just receive a blinking cursor (a squared one...) with a dollar symbol nearby. Sorry for the poor post but I can't understand this problem!

sponkemonke
Seems that Brazil Mac's DVD doesn't install the Darwin bootloader. I think ToH's Leopard should install the bootloader.
SquidCombo
Read this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/i...php/t68973.html It should solve the blinking cursor unable to boot problem. For tstevens, press F8 when you got on darwin bootloader and boot with -v flag. That should show you where it stalled
Doug the Impaler
Seems that Brazil Mac's DVD doesn't install the Darwin bootloader. I think ToH's Leopard should install the bootloader. well that explains it. I got around it by using the flat image and then the partition merge.
