lulolulito
Fixed it, the problem was that I had installed while having 2 hard drives, when the install finished i took the extra hard drive out, then it game the error, b0 error is because wrong hard drive or partition number, so I had a couple hours to spear, so I reinstalled now I get some other error: system config file 'com/apple.boot.plist' not found I am looking for more help
lanshark
For my $91 GA-P35-DS3L: I used a sata DVD-R and a sata hard drive, installed the base OS only, set sata ahci to AHCI, set sata native mode to enabled. Disabled onboard IDE. Skipped disk check. Took three tries before it worked. Leopard is a bit flaky. Didn't try the sound yet. I learned how from this post and others: Captain Nemo's DS3
Kinseek
I had some snags to with this mobo, in particular having the installer find the HD. Eventually I settled down on the notion that for some reason it randomly detects my HD only about 1/3. After install I just used nvinject for gfx and a modified sound kernel whos name escapes me for sound (think its just stereo though). Everything works like a charm (cept that I have to reboot once or twice when I try to start leopard due to mentioned problem)
CaptainNemo
Hi guys, I'm still trying to install Leopard on my system - but right after the installation I get the error, that there is no boot. Not even a damn errormessage I tried to use the Brazils Shellscript, but - without success... Maybe one of you got it work on a GA-P35-DS3x? brooklyn electronic music
I have the same mb, rev 1 F5 bios the trick is getting the boot loader right. for this reason many people install JAS 10.4.8 first, to set boot etc. I didnt and just followed the guides here, learnt some very basic unix navigation, and have got it going from scratch using both brasilmac and toh without brasilmac. I now use TOH, fix the boot, install efi 5.2, software update via web to vanilla kernal. I used the kext included inside the efi folder also. OK now who has sound working in leopard and what drivers. I do audio and dont want to mess up core audio. I run mlan and also an 'access virus ti' synth as soundcards now.
Konami®
I have the same mobo and the best thing that you can do is to have Sata HD and DVD, it work like a charm with Tiger
