I have two different laptops that I am tryng to install the ToH release onto. With both laptops, Darwin starts loading files then, after about 1 or 2 minutes of loading files, it goes into a reboot loop. It happened with the nc6000 first, so I thought it was just that hardware, but obviously not. Please help...

The configurations are as follows:

HP/Compaq n610c

2.0 GHz CPU

1GB RAM

ATI Mobility Radeon 7500

HP nc6000

1.7 GHz CPU

1GB RAM

ATI Mobility Radeon 9600

Thanks,

Compaq Evo N610c here also...

i'm also having the reboot loop thingy just after loading the kexts;

next thing i will try is install it via pacifist to my external hd (from within tiger), ands remove the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext

I will let you know if it worked.

ps: anyone ever got sleep or speedstep working on an N610c ?

Yep same problem here.

Using the prazil mac dvd.

Installed TIger all good.

Instaleld Leopard all good, then first boot and then it keeps on rebooting over and over again.

Using -v and -x both result in end boot with not much info being displayed before hand.

I have the same issue with Toh's dvd... it keeps rebooting, whatever switches I might try :P

Specs:

Fastfame 8VKK

1.7 Ghz Celeron CPU (only SSE2)

1 GB RAM

Radeon X16560 Pro 512 MB

Anyone come up with an answer? I thought I had to redownload the image, but I don't think this is the case... maybe something to do with my cpu being only SSE2?

I see all of you are having this problem on laptops...mine is a desktop pc.
