notfamous Posted November 4, 2007 Share Posted November 4, 2007 So I burned the Jas 10.4.8 iso and during boot it acts like its starting to boot but then stops and loads vista. When I replace my Vista drive witha blank one, I get a disk boot failure error. I'm sure I'm missing out on something simple. Can someone please help me. I've searched and I see a lot of posts on problems after where I'm at but everyone seems to not be running into my prob. Running AMD X2 Athlon 4200+ Toledo FT20V11 MOBO nvidia 7600GS Also I can't seem to use DiskPart to format the HD properly. I enter "create partition primary id-af" and it says that isn't a valid request. Thanks ahead of time. I've been trying to do this on my own the past week and have been failing horribly.
