ghost1001 Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Hello, I just finished installing Uphuck's 10.4.9 on my pc, but it won't boot. I get to the screen with the startup options but when I press enter, it doesn't do anything. No flags work (i tried -v , -f, -x and nothing). When I hold enter, the screen flashes and I can make out the error message: "Cannot find mach_kernel". Does anybody know what the problem is? einhornchen Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 I'm not too sure what part of my "solution" makes it work but here is what I did. Booted to dvd, copied "mach_kernel" to the OSX drive, than using disk util I repaired the disk and it's permissions. This seems to work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
