KellyKelly Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Hi Guys, After 2 week getting OSX 10.4.9 to work on my computer I finally did it today with everything working. 8800GTS 320MB QI/CE works perfect. I used semthex Kernel 8.8.1 instead of Kernel 8.9.1 because is very unstable on my system. I have a problem, My USB Flash drive don't seem to work. It regonize it in Mac system profile but does not show up on the Desktop. My usb keyboard and mouse works flawlessly. But why usb drive don't work? Also there's another problem, when I try to install .img files like it always come up error "Device not configured". Not just one dmg apps all of them come up "Device not configured" Anyone help please? KellyKelly Posted November 3, 2007 Author Share Posted November 3, 2007 I just got the mounting IMG problem solved. by tying in terminal su sudo kextunload -c com.apple.AppleDiskImageController sudo kextload -b com.apple.AppleDiskImageController But this fix just temperory. After 4 install it happen "device not configured" again. KellyKelly Posted November 6, 2007 Author Share Posted November 6, 2007 I temporary solve by typing "sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext" in Terminal But after a while it won't work again. I don't know how to make it automatically load during mac start. SunJay Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Same me, I've got JAS 10.4.8 installed and is trying to get everything working (ethernet, vid, sound) and really need my USB drive as its got all the drivers and stuff. Anyone know how to make this work? I've got a Imation and a Kingston flash drive and both dont work. But in System Profiler, it recognises them both. Really need some help.
