thunder.scripts
I've just seen this patch, but I don't know exactly how to use it: NO LINKS TO COPYRIGHTED TORRENTS! Any ideas? thegodfaza
I've just seen this patch, but I don't know exactly how to use it: "DELETED" Any ideas? Edit: I also found this one "DELETED" but it seems like you need to have Tiger and Leopard installed on different partitions to patch Leopard from Tiger. Please don't post links to torrents. shoarthing
i haven't seen any leopard for amd disks on any demonds, bays. is there 1 just to clairfy? . . there are 2x AMD PPFs for the ToH DVD, both in testing. When/if one or both are proven usable I'm sure a patched ToH RC2 AMD will be in the usual places. MacDaddyIRC
it dose work with osx86 Leopard flat image with a little effort just follow the instructions with the torren then get the files from Installing Leopard GM on AMD NOTE you will need to rename the Leopard disc to LEOPARD for the patch to work ! get the AMD Decrypts and Shrinker.zip files and do what it says from Post installation: section down works with my specs see sig you will need to boot with kernel flag -legacy or you will get kernel panic ! funnypanks
is there any disadvantage to installing on amd? cuz it always gets put in with sse2. i dont understand what the advantage to sse3 is aside from initial compatability. thanks in advance. i wouldnt even mind tiger on my amd which does support sse3 and sse2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69422-leopard-for-amd/#findComment-494590 Share on other sites

It installs fine but when i try to boot up it loads everything up do the part about network device then stops and tells me to reset my computerYeah you have to have Tiger installed to apply the patches and correct permissions. but you can try to do it from windows and then try and boot -s and then repair permissions but i dont think it will work couse the kernel is needed to boot and it will need the propper permissions.is there any disadvantage to installing on amd? cuz it always gets put in with sse2. i dont understand what the advantage to sse3 is aside from initial compatability. thanks in advance. i wouldnt even mind tiger on my amd which does support sse3 and sse2i have a intel server and it dont run as well on it as it dose on my AMD PC .but with that in mind the intell pc is only a P4 so i dont know what its like with a core duo CPU my Athlon 64 X2 4200+ runs OS X extreamly fast and works perfectly Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69422-leopard-for-amd/#findComment-495140 Share on other sites

Attached a pic about a dozen questions left unclear by this... Do you burn the image or just copy to the hard drive? Rename it to a dmg? Start from the beginning of the guide within windows? or just within tiger (with the flat image file on your dekstop) from the Post installation part and ignore all the prior stuff? can someone PLEASE lay out all the steps in one place rather than having to pick out the relevant part from 2 or 3 different sources...
