Harddisc preparation for Install Leopard ?

Hello !

Could anybody pleas answer these two questions ?

 

1.) Why does my Leopard Install DVD not recognize any SATA drives ? ( It only recognizes the IDE drive )

 

2.) Please describe all the steps how I have to prepare my harddisc within windows or mac installdvd,

so that the install dvd accepts the partition.

 

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Intel Quad Core 6600 CPU

An ATI Graphic Card

4 GB DDR2 RAM

1 SATA II HDD

1 IDE HDD

hey sorry to burst ur bubble there mate.. but i doubt a nforce 680i board will work with OSX ;).

OSX86 has been known to have a grudge against nforce boards, as it rather likes Intel and VIA.

 

Im sorry but i dont know how to get ur computer going, my old computer had a nforce 5 chipset.. and it never saw osx booting.

All i can say is that i hope someone else knows how to get it working, cause Leopard surely is great ;).

Hello !

 

I also tried it on an ASUS P5B motherboard.

It also does not recognize the SATA HDD.

Can you help me with this moterboard ?

 

Dude the p5b works perfectly - everything Works except the Mic and two of the AHCI ports
