djrbx
Hi, I have the Broadcom BCM4318KFBG built-in on my laptop. I've been trying to get it to work but everything I try doesn't work. I have an Everex Stepnote SA2052T notebook. Please help. edit: just found out my usb ports don't work either hany help with that as well?
Synaesthesia
Strange because I have the same wireless card. I just followed the tutorial, and it worked! I changed the plist in the kext to "4318" or whatever, and then (optional) change en1 to en0 in networkinterfaces.plist Do you have an airport icon at all? Usb also always worked no problem. What OSX version are you running?
djrbx
I'm using JAS Tiger 10.4.8 AMD/INTEL install dvd. I'm trying to see if I reinstall without extra driver support under customize if it will work. I'll post an update when I'm done.
Ferret-Simpson
I really hate having to reply to this one, it's in the FOI for a reason. Go read it.
djrbx
Well got everything to work after a lot of research except for the wireless function but I can live without it for now lol. So I now have a dual boot system with vista and OSX 10.4.10 what fixed my usb was the MacdotNub install disk, Thanks Macdotnub btw..
