thecourier
dear friend here's my equipment: Asus p4c800 intel 3.0 ht 1gb ram Motu 828 fx 5200 Well I've just installed 10.4.7 and works fine, but now I try to install the 10.4.8 and during installation after "start osx" (after 4 line )boot pc reset. So maybe I've bad version of osx or there's a problem with my mobo? I just check into wiki page but I don't see my mobo so it's a Osx or my mobo? Installing 10.4.9 will be better? BJMoose
One of my first hacks was the p4c800-e deluxe. I was able to successfully install JaS 10.4.6, and .8 and uphuck's 10.4.9. I had a graphics card that caused a lot of tearing and didn't support qe and ci, but it was plenty good enough to learn the operating system. With any luck, your gfx card will be supported. Good luck.

thecourier
Help me I've tried an other version of 10.4.8 jas sse3 only but still reset. so I decide to try it on same pc but using wmware and still reset during installation (my cpu is northwood type and I get alway this on boot in WMvare.) *** Virtual machine kernel stack fault (hardware reset) *** The virtual machine just suffered a stack fault in kernel mode. On a real computer, this would amount to a reset of the processor. It can be caused by an incorrect configuration of the virtual machine, a bug in the operating system, or a problem in the VMware Workstation software. Press OK to reboot virtual machine or Cancel to shut it down. thanks
