exodus_xt
I have upgraded my Tiger to Leopard. Using the ToH DVD... now my Core 2 Duo shows Core 2 Solo and runs only 1 core according to system profiler. Can anyone offer any help? MacMan2007
I have upgraded my Tiger to Leopard.Using the ToH DVD... now my Core 2 Duo shows Core 2 Solo and runs only 1 core according to system profiler. Can anyone offer any help? Same thing here, however, in activity monitor, it shows that there are 2 cores running. I think its just a misrepresentation in system profiler. Myzrael
It's normal. Activity monitor will just show 2 cores most likely. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69187-leopard-about-this-mac-shows-core-2-solo/#findComment-491738 Share on other sites

Guest bikedude880
This is just a cosmetic issue. The same thing happened back in the 10.4.8 days when kernels were being built from source. Give it time and you will have your information displayed properly (and yes, everything *should* be running the way it should be) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69187-leopard-about-this-mac-shows-core-2-solo/#findComment-491900 Share on other sites
