A Human
EFI on PC? Does it possible? So theoretical we know that impossible is nothing... But... Maybe by editing the LinuxBIOS or OpenBIOS and adding the EFI specifications EFI could run on PC? It will be solve all our problems with drivers. It will be hard, but is possible Useful Links: http://www.intel.com/technology/efi/ http://www.ddj.com/embedded/199500688 http://www.linuxbios.org/ http://www.denx.de/wiki/UBoot http://www.gnu.org/software/gnufi/ http://www.openbios.org/Open_Firmware https://www.tianocore.org/ Any ideas? Dr. Hurt
It is possible. Netkas has successfully edited the tianocore or intel implementation and added the apple modules and successfully booted OS X in it. Some other people were also able to get it, but it too complicated and doesn't really make much of a difference. Kernel hacking is now much easier (because semthex documented the process), and loading EFI compatible drivers on our hackintosh is easy using registry injectors like NATIT.
