Hey guys!

I have a HP Pavilion ZD8155ea (ZD8000 Series)

After some modifications i got the QE/CI and Airport to work, everything else already worked fine.

So, when i plug in my iPod Touch with iTunes running, it says, i have to update to 10.4.10

it also says, that my iPod is a iPhone :)

Can i update with the apple software update or sth else? or how can i get my ipod to work with itunes?

thanks

Hmm.. you cannot use the apple update because that will f**k everything up. I think there was an update released before just a matter of finding it. But if you are desperate enough just use a different computer to add songs to your ipod touch.

You can try this. I used it to get iLife 08 to work.

Make a copy of the file on your desktop !

Open it in a text editor and you can find the following keys there:

<key>ProductUserVisibleVersion</key>

<string>10.4.8</string>

<key>ProductVersion</key>

<string>10.4.8</string>

Just change the 10.4.8 to 10.4.9 and save the file on your desktop.

After this, copy the file back to the location, give your administrator password.

That's it, open iPhoto and it will work perfectly !

Make sure to thank AntarcticP, because I took this from one of his posts.
