M0rpheus
Hi everyone, I posted a thread over at OSX86scene.com but haven't got any replies yet and thought maybe people here could help also. Problem is I can't get more than one core of my Core Duo T2300 working. To boot I have to use the cpus=1 command, then it works. I have deleted the AppleIntelCPU power management kext and it still won't boot with both CPU cores enabled. I feel I can't fully appreicate Leopard on my hardware when I'm missing a whole CPU core. Does anyone know of a fix or hack I can perform to make it work properly? Thanks in advance.
M0rpheus
Nevermind everyone, I've come up with a solution. All I needed was instead of using the cpus=1 command t use idlehalt=0, that makes both cores work. If anyone is having troubles installing Leopard or booting because of a halt, try that command. Now I'm a happy chappy, got Leopard fully running on my laptop with sound, network and full video support on both cores
