Hi,

I have a dell dimension 8250 with a p4 2.4GHz northwood and intel 850e mobo running 10.4.9 w/ 8.9.1 kernel. Installed with JaS 10.4.8 install dvd. I have very low read/write speeds if UDMA is enabled in the bios. It runs ok when disabled but I was wondering how to get UDMA support. It has the ICH2 i/o controller. I think it maybe something in the ioatafamily.kext.
