Christian
I used mac.nub's installer. I installed it with a DVD-R disk. I have completely no sound. I have a .txt file and a codec#0 file form ubuntu to put in the Apple HDA patcher but when I drag and drop it doesn't work. N!CK
I have the 9250 i've tried the HDAPatcher to no avail. Make sure when you drag the file into the patcher that it is .txt, the patcher will not except others. phattyboombatty
I have the Sigmatel 9250 as well. I have the Gateway M465-E. I got everything to run flawlessly on it (with my Radeon x1300 using my 42" external HD display). Now I've installed x86 Leopard and the only thing that I can't get to work is the sound. Taruga's Sigmatel patcher 1.16 fails every time on Leopard saying that it doesn't recognize the codec. I can go back to my Tiger x86 install and the TXT file works fine, so I know it's not that. I tried a drag and drop of the patched KEXTs from Tiger as well, but to no avail. Any help? Taruga are you out there? Thanks in advance! I have already searched the forums and have not found anything to my benefit. I have the same laptop and all. I have tried alot of things. I do have working ethernet, wireless, and sound. I have since moved up to Leopard. These things still work but I no longer have the ability to burn CD's.
