Hi

I hope some of you experts here can tell me if I would run into problems if I try to install OSX on my laptop.

My laptop is a Compaq NX9420 with the following specs:

CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7200 2.0 GHz 4 MB L2 cache 667 MHz front side bus

Chipset: Mobile Intel® 945GM Express

Ram: 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Graphic: ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics controller with 256 MB of dedicated video memory

Audio: ADI High Definition CODEC; Integrated 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro compatible audio

EDIT: Sound card is a soundmax integrated digital hd

Network: Integrated Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express Controller (10/100/1000 NIC) with HP power down NIC technology

Wireless: Intel 802.11a/b/g; Intel 802.11b/g; Broadcom 802.11a/b/g; Broadcom 802.11b/g; Bluetooth 2.0

It's a centrino machine...

Thanks,

Daniel

Chipset should work***

CPU should work

RAM should work

Wireless Card may or may not work*

Network card may or may not work

Audio card may or may not work**

Graphics card may or may not work

* If you have a Broadcom 4318 Wireless Card and Kalyway's Leopard DVD, it will work

Just select NO NETWORK DRIVERS AT ALL unless there is a network card for ur ethernet.

**Pretty sure on Kalyway's DVD there is a driver for ur audio

***I have the same chipset and my computer is alive :)
