SPLITER
Is it possible to partition my external hard drive and move the leopard disc image in to it and boot that partition and install leopard? if there is, are there any tutorials? if not, are there any other ways to install leopard without a disc directly in to my hard drive? Headrush69
Yes, its as simple as that. Use disk utility to restore the dmg image to a partition and then boot off that partition. TurboBrik
either that or you can use carbon copy cloner, thats what I did due to my rev. a macbook only having a single layer burner, so I took the image and cloned it to my external hard drive, then when you boot the computer you hold down the option key and select the leopard install drive and its as simple as that, either that or you can shrink leopard onto a single layer dvd by removing printer drivers and such as shown in other threads. Cyman
Does the hard disk partition that you copy the image to, have to be empty or can I copy the Leopard image to a partition with files on it? If it requires an empty partition, how can I edit the image to fit it on a single layer DVD?
