shocker
I was tooling around on Google today, noticing that the Washington Times and other well respected news sources were reviewing the new Mac releases. The iMac generally got very good reviews, the Macbook Pro (or powerbook as I want to call it), however, is apparently a risk. An article from Unsanity explains... http://www.unsanity.org/... I agree w/ the argument laid out by the author. Some ports, better resolution, Merom, and dual layer dvd burning would be very nice. Do you think that this will be addressed in future models? ps- if the web link to unsanity doesn't work, go to unsanity.com then weblog. should be the 1st entry. cyrana
I don't expect resolution to go up until 10.5 (I think that is the one that will scale up in resolution/ppi much much better). But, it does annoy me slightly. They were rushed some, but they wanted us to get some Macs now, and also I think due to so many other companies releasing Core Duo laptops at the same time. Finally, this is WAY better than Apple usually does. Most of the time you get some lame graphics card or something. As it is, you can't get a faster one (and still dissipate heat properly in this weight class).
