In Tiger I could copy to my Ubuntu/Netatalk server with speeds from 60-80MB/sec but now with Leopard installed I can't get over 30MB/sec. When I backed up my MacPro (Tiger) to my server this afternoon it took just under 2 hours to copy over everything but not copying back to my newly installed Leopard it's taking me almost 4 hours.

Have any of you guys seen this? I confirmed with ifconfig that I'm linked at 1000mb full duplex so I'm guessing it's Leopards Self Tuning-TCP doing something with the buffer size.

Actually, i'm facing intermittent network lags that i never faced before in tiger... even though my speeds actually do hit 5mb/s when downloading off http... but sometimes, when i load a page, the page jus sits there... and i have to reload again to get it going... or cases when the page loads half, and jus stops....

one plus point though, they fixed up the 100kb/500kb download bug in safari... 100% plus point...

I forgot to put this in my first post. On my MacBook Pro when I'm on an N network it's also very slow, I can't get over 20KB/sec. Switching to my G base station and it works as expected. I was thinking it was because I have the 1st gen MacBook Pro and I upgraded the wireless card to an Apple N card myself. At the time I had to run the enabler for the card but you don't in Leopard. Now I'm thinking it might be the Self Tuning-TCP getting in the way.
