newhere123
I was trying to use Darwine on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (intel core duo 2). I saw http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?&am...18111&st=60 and followed the tutorial, but after doing the freetype thing, most text (such as in program menus) became odd shapes, like circles, lines, exes, checks, boxes, etc. Doing lots of searching online for more tutorials, I managed to get it working (now most text, like in program menus, show up as letters). However, in Picasa2, some text, most notably the titles of the different folders, still are in this "font" of boxes and circles. See attached file . Now, what's going on? Is there a special font picasa uses here that I need to put in the font folder? newhere123
I added the marlett font to the font folder (in the psudo c:/ drive), and it is still the same.
