klapi
Hi, This is really just a luxury problem but I thought I would give it a shot anyways My laptop has a 4:3 (1,33) ratio screen (not 1,25 like some other) and standard in windows is 1400x1050 (the optimized resolution). So I changed the res in com.apple.Boot.plist (= 1400x1050x32). The resolution is correct when I start up mac os x BUT the wierd thing is if I drag a window/application from one point to another - changing it's position or what you would call it - then that window is filled with screwed up pixel"errors". The window can be "fixed" by pressing F9 twice - or F10 or F12 etc., pretty much every function that updates the screen (EXCEPT dragging the window around). If I start mac osx up with flag -X then there's no error at all. Does anyone know of a setting - what I should disable - to make it work in normal startup too? I would guess it to be some fancy aqua (or is it called glass? I get confused with Vista) gfx, but F9, F10, F12 produces the same gfx effects in safemode as in normal startup. Thanks in advance - Klapi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6770-wierd-graphics-bug/ Share on other sites
