zband
I am haveing the same problems, with the same machine. Here is what I am choosing (perhaps someone could help) Kernel= 8.9.1 kernel Universal may02 8.9.1 System.kext 10.4.5 LoginWindow.app Additionally : " Recomended patches - Verbose Mode, CPUPowerManagement.kext Remover, System profiler.Patch Sound :Sigmatel 9200 Network driver: I dont know ! (just want to get it to boot!) Using the DVD I format the HD to HFS+ Journaled Now here is the funny part I install the OS and it time to reboot and I come to a blank screen with a cursor blinking.... I triy the above process again this time checking (using disk utility) about a start up disk - My HD installation is not even there?!? What am I missing? I heard about the paperclip trick (tried it ) in the VGA port - no change do I need to choose a ATA_USB controller? Is this perhaps why I dont see my OS X installation under disk utility? Any clue / suggestion would help us b130 owners out !
