Any reason why Xbench Disk Test (Random) scores would be so pathetic (Using Asus P5K in AHCI mode)?

Any sense as to why? Using AHCI (406 BIOS set in AHCI mode...native command queing in enabled/supported according to System Profiler in Mac).

 

There must be some kind of fix...these scores are like 1/10th the speed of a traditional Mac...any insights??

That's about what I get, I think that's a pretty standard result.

Xbench is {censored}, that's why.

Because hard drives suck at seeking and anything but sequential read/write. RAID would help (one drive can be seeking while the other reading/writing).
