It would be sweet to be able to take the full version (not just an iPhone) of OS X around in your pocket. Has anyone tried a ThinkPad X61 or an Asus W5Fe-2P025E... just the thought causes me to make involuntary giggling sounds. bbkim Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I have installed 10.4.8 on my old Panasonic Toughbook CF-W2. It is 2.4lb with a built-in optical. Slow processor (900MHz). Everything worked except PCMCIA and brightness control. Wireless card was originally Intel and was replaced with Broadcom (Dell) card. Dual boot with XP. Not the fastest, but impressed several people. I know video will not have full support, but does the wireless(i changed to the IBM A/B/G one) and LAN works? what if i connect it to the ultrabase?
