deepdark Posted October 18, 2007 Share Posted October 18, 2007 So i have a MacBook PRO 15" 2.4G with 160GB hdd and when i installed he 10,4,9 i made a two partitions: a: System 80Gb MAC OS extended (jpurnaled) and second for backup like this: b: Backup 80Gb MAC OS extended (jpurnaled) after that uinstalled the Boot Camp and when i run boot camp i get this error : The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition. The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac Os Extended (journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows. Numberzz Posted October 18, 2007 Share Posted October 18, 2007 I'm sorry to say that Boot Camp only works for Macs with one partition. But when Leopard comes out in 8 days, you can create the boot camp partition and create a Time Machine backup non-destructively.
