Thanatios
Well, I have tried to install 10.4.10 on my PC, but I keep getting errors. My Specs: I have an Intel Pentium 4 3,1 GHZ Proccesor SSE2 Northwood 1 GB RAM nVidia GeForce FX 5600 Videocard DVD Player/CD-Re My installations: Windows XP Mac OS X Tiger (Installed using VMWare) ISO's and Updates I have: MAC OSX 10.4.9 with the 10.4.10 Update (KILL3R) Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] 10.4.6.install.dvd Jas 10.4.8 Combo Update intel amd 10.4.8 koolkal 10.4.10 combo update intel sse3 only This is what I tried to do (All Clean Install): Installed 10.4.6 (I Can't install 10.4.8 or higher using VMWare, and I don't have a DVD-re) (Worked) Installed 10.4.8 Combo Update (Worked) Installed koolkal 10.4.10 combo update intel SSE3/SSE2 Universal At the last update I had a crash, so I started to panic and re-installed 10.4.6. Today I tried to install the Koolkal update on top of 10.4.6. But I get the very same error. Error at Startup: "Couln't find driver for: ACPI" Or something in that way. Okey so I did some re-search, and it looks like its a problem with my AppleACPIPlatform.kext & IOACPIFamily.kext files. I tried to download earlier versions from this forum. But I think that they are SSE3, because I can't get them to work. What should I do now? Where are Those files located on my DVD ISO? Or even the best question: How should I update to 10.4.10? Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66867-needing-help-on-installing-10410/ Share on other sites

Some more information on your motherboard and chipset/configuration will probably help to get some more answers out of people here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66867-needing-help-on-installing-10410/#findComment-474254 Share on other sites
