etx
I'm trying to think of a way to get around the lack of support for my SATA chipset (SIS 661fx mobo) is their any chance I could install to a 160gb USB 2.0 drive? I searched and couldn't find anything. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66480-install-osx86-to-a-usb-drive/ Share on other sites
BJMoose
It's definitely possible to install OSX on a usb drive. It still has to deal with your chipset, so you won't know til you try. I've done it as have many others on this forum.
