Thanks guys!My Spec is as follows :Athlon X2 4600+ATI PCI Express 1950GT2gb ddr2 dual channel ram250gb hdd Now.I installed the 8.8.1 version 10.4.8 of JaS and used the AMD sse2 sse3 kernal, and did not select anything other than that plus x11 and some additional fonts.Install went fine.First time I boot however and this happens after a couple of minutes of loading:Panic (Cpu1 caller 0x00(A3129) Unresolved kernal trap (CPU1 , type 14 = page fault)(some random addresses)Kernal loadable modules in backtrace (with dependancies): com.apple.geforce(4.3.6) dependancy: com.apple.IOKIt.IOPCIFAMILy depen:com.apple.IOGRAPHICSFAMilyetc etc etcCan anybody give me any ideas as to why this has happened. I did not apply the patch thing by typing -v -s before you boot, cos it says /patchercannot read patcher description - or something along those lines!Thanks guys - help me ASAP please!Andyhelp!!!! Forceman Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 Do -v -s and follow the instructions it says to check the disk and mount it, then delete /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext and /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache. I need some graphics acceleration for my ati pci x1950 radeon which my current installation looks like it is just being the generic driver. Any tips on finding the correct driver!
