gr0undzero
I am running on an Asus A8V Deluxe with 2GB of RAM and a X2 4200. The installation goes well. Stereo sound even works straight from install. There are however two main problems I am having. One is that the system only sees one core. Could this just be an error in reporting and it actually is useing both? If so how can I test this? The second problem is that I have a 7900GS which seems to be very compatible with PCIE but mine is AGP. Whenever I install natit v2 I get a kernel panic on reboot. I have been using the automatic installers, could doing this manually be better? By the way I am using 10.4.8 JAS install disk. Thanks for any input Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65989-kernel-panic-with-7900gs/ Share on other sites

gr0undzero
Thanks for the link but why would I need to flash it and to what? The wiki says that 7900GS 256MB cards worked. There was a modified natit for 7900gs so I will give this a try tonight.
