Cliffton Beach
The Sound Blaster Pro was released in 1991. Are you sure that's the soundcard you are using? Not that it matters, as far as I know there are no OSX drivers for any Sound Blasters. ~pcwiz
Correct me if I'm wrong but Creative Sound Blaster cards aren't compatible with OS X and they won't work. If you have onboard sound, try using that. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65731-sound-blaster-pro-drivers/#findComment-465758 Share on other sites

shoarthing
like? . . like mebbe it'd be helpful for you to find out what [exactly what] driver Windows XP uses for your sound device & what [exactly what] name & ID-string Windows XP gives this sound device. . . FWIW the 5610 series appears to have the usual onboard Realtek HDA.
