mc'dreams
Hello. My osx86 Jas 10.4.8 on intel core2du0 1.83 runs well for already 5 months except for the clock running very fast. In "about this mac" my processor is seen as Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 1.4 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 Looks like these two issues are connected. How can I overcome it? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65704-wrong-core2duo-frequency-and-a-very-fast-clock/ Share on other sites
vbetts
It might not really be anything. If you haven't made any changes to your hardware, and if you've run Xbench before this problem happened, run Xbench again under the same enviroment, and see if there is any major differences in the sores.
