It comes with the basic mac software. iTunes, safari, Mail, iChat, iCal, dashboard, calculator, automator, dvd software, dictionary, preview (for images), quicktime, sherlock, stickies, textedit, ect. I think that covers most of them; if you want anything like iLife or iHome you'll have to purchase or download for yourself.

But if you purchase it it'll be PPC, won't it? Exactly how fast is Rosetta? Would it be a real pain to run iLife? I don't really mind buying it if it'll work. I'd actually love to buy OSX86 from Apple. They need to sell it to work on all PCs.

They will be PPC but they run well enough to use under Rosetta if you have a fast (like P4 3.0 or better) CPU. I have read runors that there is about to be a new iLife version released, maybe next week, and I would guess that a new version will have native Intel support, so I would wait a little bit before buying the current version.

Hmm. Okay. Yeah, if they announce Mactel iBooks at MacWorld, then they'll probably release iLife in a universal binary. Okay, thanks. I'll definitely wait, because the processor is a 2.53ghz Celeron. That'll give me some time to get some money for it, too. I still have to buy the processor and motherboard, which I'll do as soon as I get some problems with an eyedoctor bill worked out.
